Twelve
Watch the trailer for Alfonso’s upcoming film, Twelve, which follows his journey  back to childhood as he meets with twelve other people who moved to Canada at the age of twelve, and searches for life-lessons for his twelve-year-old self. The film will premiere in Peterborough on November 30th at Showplace (290 George St. N.), as part of the ReFrame Peterborough International Film Festival (formerly the Traveling World Community Film Festival Peterborough)

Instant Videos
You can also check out Original Plastic’s instant music video project (http://instantvideos.blogspot.com), where Foreman and Alfonso upload a new music video every week. The videos, shot in Peterborough, are all done in one take with Foreman playing all the songs live off the floor using a looping pedal. You can check out the first video in the series, Rolling Stone, on Arthur’s website.

Art Lessons
Featuring an interview with dancer and choreographer Wes Ryan about his obsessive and consuming relationship with art, the short juxtaposes head-on shots with stock footage and footage of Ryan’s performance during Peterborough New Dance’s Emergency #15.

Motion8
Eight different dancers participated in this joint project between Peterborough New Dance and the Peterborough Arts Umbrella. Planned and shot in fifteen minutes, the resulting film is strong, frantic and affecting.
