A young new journalist who brings a unique perspective forward joins the team for Volume 58. Kiki is a Thunder Bay born, mixed Anishinaabe Settler woman who uses her creative past in her writing. She is in her first year of the Indigenous Studies CO-OP program.

She enjoys writing or talking anything Indigenous and will take any opportunity to write a story on an Indigenous artist.

Kiki has a past as a baker, owning her own business for 5 years while in high school and receiving youth entrepreneur awards from NADF and AYARA.  She can also speak French, since she took French Immersion her whole life but would take any chance to brag way more about the few Ojibwe words she knows. She can also often be caught with a camera or a cup of coffee in hand.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
