Nevan Hinks is a multi-disciplinary artist currently trying to think of something cool to make in Peterborough/Nogojiwanong. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Guelph (2023) with a real deal specialization in Printmaking, and a nearly-finished specialization in Experimental Performance Art. They are currently enrolled as a first year Masters of Arts in Cultural Studies student.
Nevan’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around Canada, she has won a handful of awards for her work (that she hates talking about), published an ephemeral limited print book work, has led workshops and guest lectures, and has been an editor of two Toronto based literary magazines. They have previously worked with, and been mentored by artists such as Diane Borsato, FASTWÜRMS, Robert Enright (art critic), Rihab Essayh and Lauren Nurse.
In her spare time, Nevan can be found gazing into her dogs eyes, telling them they are perfect, sitting and staring at their messy desk, or pulling weeds out of strangers' gardens when she walks by them. In the future, Nevan hopes to live to be 105 and be known as the grouchy person who lives down the road by local children.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
