This music and film obsessed journalist will be joining Arthur's 60th volume as a Student Journalist. Currently entering his second year of the Media B.A. program at Trent, and holding a Journalism diploma from Durham College, Wesley is very excited to join the team. With a major interest in the arts and the community, he is looking to bring interesting and inspiring local stories to Arthur.
A lifelong fanatic of film and music (his favourite film being Spider-Man 2 and favourite singer being Michael Jackson) he has a huge interest in the indie arts scene in Peterborough and on campus. During his time at Durham College, he had the chance to create a wide array of stories ranging from the arts to community events and more. This period of time allowed him to write many stories as well as create a selection of video paks (and even talk to actors who shared the screen with the likes of Denzel Washington and Chris Rock). Having a moderate amount of experience and huge amount of love for film and video editing, he is excited to bring that passion to Arthur and help with the visual aspect (when he isn't writing pieces). At Durham College, he won the 2022 Best Arts Award story writing for The Chronicle. Though art is his main focus, Wesley loves to write about the community and all the general news that comes with it.
When he isn't racing between school and work and now making his mark on Arthur's 60th Volume, Wesley is also in the process of making his first film in the pursuit of journalism and filmmaking.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
