After two years as Arthur’s Trent Central Student Association (TCSA) reporter par excellence, Louanne Morin joins Volume 60 as Co-Editor. Louanne is headed into the third year of her Cultural Studies undergraduate degree at Trent, and grew up in Peterborough-Nogojiwanong. As a passionate academic and journalistic writer, she works closely with the rest of Arthur’s staff and community contributors to highlight their talents and fulfill the newspaper’s mandate as a voice for Trent students and community members.

Beyond long hours spent in Zoom meetings, Louanne’s work at Arthur has touched upon a wide breadth of disciplines, from local politics coverage to film and music criticism. The unique perspective from which she approaches her roles as a reporter, opinion writer, and cultural critic are undeniably grounded in her history as a trans journalist in Peterborough-Nogojiwanong, as well as her enjoyment of and participation in left-field artistry.

On most weekdays, Louanne can be found at Arthur’s Sadleir House office inundating her fellow Editors’ ears with admittedly dreadful power electronics, or ruminating over her hatred of some obscure cultural theorist. On the weekends, she retreats into her cold, cold room to eat the spiciest rice bowls possible and debate Pokemon Showdown tiering policy with her roommates.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
