Since April of 2023, the makakoon have been on loan from the Royal Collection Trust and have since been on display at the Peterborough Museum and Archives as part of a six-month-long exhibit entitled “To Honour and Respect: Gifts from Michi Saagiig Women to the Prince of Wales, 1860.”
